Come along to our AGM
NHS Great Yarmouth and Waveney Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is inviting anyone who wants to find out more about developments in local healthcare during the past year to come to its annual general meeting (AGM).
The CCG will hold its AGM on Thursday 27 September at 6.30pm at its headquarters at Beccles House, Common Lane North, Beccles.
During the meeting, people will be given the chance to hear more about the CCG’s finances and the way local services have performed. The work of the early intervention vehicle, which has seen ambulance and therapy staff join forces to put the right support in place to keep people at home following a 999 call, will also be showcased, while the public will be given the chance to ask questions.
Dr Liam Stevens, chair of the CCG, said: “We would encourage anyone with an interest in the NHS to come along to our AGM. They will be given the chance to ask any questions they may have, learn more about local services and the way they have performed and hear about developments which have taken place over the past year.
“This includes the early intervention vehicle, which sees a variety of healthcare partners work closely together to keep people in their own homes following a 999 call, and is helping to ensure only those who really need hospital care are admitted.
“We look forward to welcoming as many people as possible to the meeting so we can showcase some of the exciting work which has taken place during the past 12 months while also outlining our plans for the coming year.”
Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting, which will close at 8pm.
