2019 CCG Annual General Meeting
Come along to the NHS Great Yarmouth and Waveney CCG AGM
Local people and community groups are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting of NHS Great Yarmouth and Waveney CCG later this month.
The AGM is being held on Thursday, 26 September from 6.30 pm until 8.00 pm at Beccles House, 1 Common Lane North, Beccles, Suffolk, NR34 9BN. Doors open at 6.15 pm.
During the evening the CCG will review its performance over the last year, talk about some of the plans already taking shape to improve care for people living in Norfolk and Waveney and provide an opportunity for questions.
Among the milestones include a new way of delivering community health services across Great Yarmouth and Waveney, a new 24/7 palliative care service, a major drive to reduce the use of opioid medicines which is already improving people’s lives and new investment announced for the James Paget University Hospital to build a diagnostic centre along with the hospitals in Norwich and King’s Lynn.
The Chair of NHS Great Yarmouth and Waveney Clinical Commissioning Group, Dr Liam Stevens, said: “It has been another incredibly busy year for our CCG. Not least have we been developing care for patients but we are now discussing how best to join forces with the other CCGs in Norfolk and Waveney to make a bigger impact.
“We welcome people to our AGM to hear more about what we’ve done and what we have in store for the future.”
You can let the CCG know you want to attend the AGM by registering here or by phoning 01502 718629.
