Finding your nearest services

If you’re feeling ill, there may not be a need to go to your doctor when you can talk to your pharmacist. This may be quicker and you won’t need to wait days for an appointment. Pharmacists are trained clinicians who may be able to help you or advise you about treatment or medication.

If you live in the Great Yarmouth and Waveney area you will be able to access a NHS dental place if you would like one. People living in the NHS Great Yarmouth and Waveney area have the best access to a dentist in the east of England.

2016 Bank Holiday - Pharmacy opening times

June 2016 will see Great Yarmouth and Waveney CCG along with 4 neighbouring CCGs launch the 'Your Medicines, Your NHS' campaign which is a year long campaign split into four phases. The first phase called 'Open the bag' urges members of the public, family, friends and carers to literally 'Open the bag' when receiving repeat prescriptions, checking if they need everything and handing back what they don't.

For more details see 'Your Medicines, Your NHS'. If you would like to know more information about your own doctor's surgery you can do that here. To find a local dentist, optician or pharmacist visit the NHS Choices website.
